Morning Doctor

I spent a truly amazing day filming for the Channel 4 show 'Surgery live'. Broadcasting from Southampton General Hospital, I supplied and operated one of two Polecam rigs in the operating theatre for 'awake brain surgery'. Using the Polecam zoom lens and a standard 4mm we were able to get high angle geography shots and the all important close ups! The surgeon and his team were very accommodating and allowed us great access. Space was always an issue, but by rigging the Polecam with the elbows we were able to operate without hindering the theatre staff'.
